If I Can Do All That, I Know You Can Too

People tell me they are too old to start over. I know exactly how that sounds, because I have started over more than once.

My life has been filled with twists and turns. I am a divorced mother of four children, all of whom grew into successful adults. I was an alcoholic, and I have now been sober 39 years.

I worked as a counselor in employment services and in an addiction program. I lived in a foreign country and taught English there for ten years. On top of all of that, I built and successfully ran four businesses.

I did not let the negativity consume my life. Instead of giving up, I turned it around. If I can do all that, I know that you can do it too.
